The first quarter of 2023 saw varying performance trends for the top 5 theme park apps on the Android platform in South Africa. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

My Disney Experience experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting with 32 downloads in the last week of December and dipping to as low as 5 downloads in late February. However, the app saw a recovery towards the end of the quarter, reaching 29 downloads in the final week of March. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 83 in late December, dipping to 49 in late February, and climbing back up to 83 by the end of March.

Disneyland® Paris had a more erratic download pattern. It started with 65 downloads at the end of December, dropped to zero in certain weeks of January and February, and saw a resurgence to 34 downloads by the end of March. Universal Orlando Resort experienced a gradual decline in downloads from 22 in late December to zero in late February, with a slight recovery to 13 downloads by the end of March. Active user data showed a drop from 36 in late December to zero in early January, with no further data available.
